Explosions are heavy and hearing the gunfire in the distance and yelling soldiers helps with the immersion, the small things though like screaming soldiers from being blown up or asking for a medic provides some realism but also a little laughter. Art & Sound team did there job: The game is visually impressive, the map design in both War Stories and Multiplayer are gorgeous. So much is locked away until "given date" - way to value your Day 1 buyers, War Stories is a short-n-disappointing experience and that's it.with the rest of the other options being Multiplayer. The gun balancing could be a issue especially with the weapon mods which it feels like BF is slowly crawling towards being like Call of Duty. You do have your typical shooter problems though like the many hit-markers and spawn issues in MP, i also found mounting over walls can get irritating and ruin your flow of movement. The immersion though is unmatched with BFV having you move-n-feel like a soldier fighting in World War 2. Run-n-gun like you're in World War 2: Gun-play is fluid, character movement is smooth most of the time and every gun shoots-n-feels unique. Gun-play EA sure rolled the DICE with Battlefield V bwahaha.but seriously what a disappointment.

But it's FUN, it feels good and they're going to keep improving it. The progression system could be better, for example. We need to be rewarding this as a community. It's even more disappointing because this game is doing SO MANY THINGS that we as a community have been crying out for - no more paid DLC and community segmentation, pay for the game once and get continued content and support, new and fresh game modes etc. It's so disappointing that EA/DICE are being bashed over having female characters in a game at all. They're going to be constantly releasing content (maps and some game modes to come) that brings more and more content into the game, chronologically expanding with the theatres of the war. This sees the British and Germans fighting over North Africa, Holland, Belgium etc. They've started this game with the battlefields of early WW2. Trust me, the game is worth buying because EA/DICE have come up with a really good model that should be rewarded. I've never reviewed anything before in my life. And really that's the main reason why I'm writing this review. A commitment to deliver free, ongoing content that will add more to what is already a really good initial offering. Immersive, tasteful and atmospheric sounds and music - Fantastic gameplay - weapons feel really nice with only (at this point) minor need for some tweaks. Give this game a chance and you'll find: - Fantastic game modes (with more to come) - Grand Operations, where you play 3 separate battles over one game, is a wonderful addition.
